The new Mi AirDots 2 SE is supposedly the child of REDMI AIRDOTS and Mi TWS Earphones. This new Mi AirDots 2 SE have large 14.2mm drivers with support for AAC for a fuller audio experience. These TWS earbuds pair over Bluetooth 5.0 but do no support LDHC codec, which is the only point of difference from the Mi True Wireless earbuds. It auto-connects to Xiaomi devices upon opening the case. The earphones will connect to Android or iOS devices using Bluetooth 5.0 with a range of 10 meters.

The TWS earphones have fairly 5 hours of battery life on a single charge. It also gives 20 hours of full-day use with the charging case. Speaking of the case, it charges via USB Type-C port at 5W and takes 1.5 hours to charge completely. It has dual-microphones onboard to enable environmental noise cancellation (ENC). It has a semi in-ear design with in-ear wear detection with the help of IR sensors. Finally, it has touch controls on both stems to control music playback, answer calls, and wake the voice assistant.

Mi AirDots 2 SE Price in India

The Mi AirDots 2 SE is list on Mi store in a single white color option and has a price of CNY 169 (~ Rs 1,800). making the earphones quite a lot more affordable than the Mi TWS Earphones. The Mi TWS Earphones were launched at Rs 4,499. In India, we expect the TWS earphones to launched around similar pricing.

Mi AirDots 2 SE Launch in India

The Mi AirDots 2 SE will go on sale starting May 19 in China with no information on international availability. We expect this TWS Earphones to launch alongside any upcoming MI SMARTPHONE in India. If these come at similar Chinese pricing then it will definitely be a great option to buy for consumers in India.
